100 Windows - #91

I'm not sure if I'm correct, but I call this a Boxed Swag.
Interesting that it was translated into a shower curtain for the adjoining bath.

On second look, it appears both pictures were taken in the bathroom.  But it would be easy to carry this style from one room to another. I think I would have taken the valance and curtain over the tub all the way up to the ceiling.

100 Windows - #90

Wow! We are in the home stretch.
Here's a DIY idea that could look oh-so-much-more professional if the workroom had done just one thing.  See if you can guess what it is.....
This attached valance uses so little fabric, it would be great if you have some leftovers or if you wanted to use that $200 per yard fabric. The use of 2 fabrics makes it look more custom but I just have to ask......Why wasn't it lined???  Was that what you guessed?
The curtain portion is supposed to be unlined as it looks like a linen sheer.  I love the color mix of the three fabrics.
Here's a picture of the entire treatment.  Although it's a little dark you get the idea.

100 Windows - #89

Finally, a picture from the world of Pinterest!  I wish I could give credit but I don't know the source.  I am not normally a huge lover of blue, and not much of a green fan either, but I love this combination and might even use it in my own bedroom.
Even though this is a paler blue it is crisp and almost shocking against the white wall. Of course, I LOVE a long full drapery panel!

100 Windows - #88

It's a grey dreary day where I am, so here is a cheerful little shade. Look at that multi-color pom pom trim.  Look.  At.  It!
The view from across the room is a bit dark but you get the idea.

100 Windows - #87

This is one of my favorites!
I love the pattern placement. I love the black and white.  I love the seemingly hundreds of folds at the bottom.  I love that it was hung at the ceiling level, but the window probably doesn't go up that far.
Even the side view, which so many people ignore, is nice. Really cute black and white bathroom.
Even the floor!

100 Windows - #86

Here is a rare one......a cornice board with a ruffled edge. Not as tricky as you might think.

100 Windows - #85

If I showed you some fabric with rhinestones, would you think to use it on a window treatment? Sometimes, what looks too blingy in a sample book can actually be pretty subtle in it's final form.
This pretty London shade is a wonderful mix of city and country.  It's kind of Ginger meets Mary Ann. Or when your country cousin gets herself all fixed up for the prom and you say, "Damn girl! You look FINE!"
Checks and ruffles and rhinestones, oh my!
